PU Series – Submersible Portable Sewage & Wastewater Pumps
Vortex sewage pumping for solids handling and clog-resistant wastewater transfer
The PU-series is a submersible vortex pump designed for raw sewage, wastewater, and liquid carrying solid matters. It is made of resin and 304 stainless steel and excellent in corrosion-resistance. The vortex mechanism provides practically unchokable operation in sewage pumping. Liquid paraffin is used for the lubricating oil, which widens the application of the pump to decorative waterfalls, fishponds, aquaculture, etc.
Features
- PUA models – Float switch for automatic control which keeps the system running without manual intervention and prevents the pump from running dry
- Back pull-out design allows separation of pump and motor sections without removing the impeller, enabling easier inspection and maintenance (excludes 0.15kW)
- Single-phase models – operate on standard 240V supply and are RCM certified for electrical safety and compliance
- Liquid paraffin lubrication allows safe use in fishponds, aquaculture, and other water-sensitive applications
- Tsurumi’s exclusive oil lifter device, and dual silicon carbide mechanical seals
- Anti-wicking cable entry system prevents water ingress, protecting internal components
